How it all started...
Christ the King Lutheran Church was planted from Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Humble, Texas, in 1988 and was chartered in 1989.
The congregation dedicated its first building in 1990. In August of that same year, Pastor Al Doering was welcomed as Christ the King’s first resident pastor and continues to serve as Senior Pastor.
