Groups at CTK

Get connected to a group at CTK where you learn about God, love each other  and make yourselves available to love those who are disconnected from Christ and his church. Below is a list of our currently active adult groups. Please contact Groups Coodinator, Jadi Meyer, for more information.

  • Christ in Action (C.I.A.)

We are passionate about serving Christ by reaching out to those who are physically, emotionally, or financially impaired and are unable to handle some of their physical needs. (i.e. minor home repairs, temporary yard help, handicap ramps, and the like.) Using our hands and skills to improve living standards, we strive to share the light and love of Christ with those we help.

  • Burnt Offering - Cooking Krew

We are a group of Christian men who are dedicated to serving through cooking for charities, gathering for fellowship and encouraging each other in our faith.

  • Family Promise

Our Life Group formed around helping families in transition through the Family Promise Missional Opportunity. We meet quarterly for fellowship, seeking God's vision and sharing ideas to better serve our Family Promise guests.

  • FUN

We meet for Fellowship with our Heavenly Father and one another on the 2nd Sunday of the month as we seek to understand what it means to have our identity in Christ.

  • Young at Heart (YAHS)

We meet  to encourage one another as we reach out with Christ’s love in various ways such as worship service at Pine Shadows Nursing Home and ministering to Seniors.

  • Slipper Sisters

Slipper Sisters is a missional community that meets weekly on Mondays, 7-9 pm for Bible Study, Prayer and Fellowship.

  • Little Hats, Great Joy

Little Hats, Great Joy makes hats for babies born at Kingwood Medical Center.  Not only is there no prior experience in knitting or crocheting necessary, but this ministry allows the freedom to participate by making hats during your spare time.

  • Elijah's Jars

Elijah’s Jars is a group of people who meet regularly to establish a sense of community in order to live out the reality of the Christian life on a day-to-day basis.

  • Young Families for Christ  is a group learning how to live for Christ in our marriages, parenting, and serving and loving others. Currently we are studying Love Does by Bob Goff. We meet twice monthly - for Bible study and fellowship. Click the box to contact us for more information.
